Our fans aren’t just adventurers and mischief makers - they can be some of the most creative, innovative people in the world. We’re talking certified geniuses when it comes to taking something that already works better than anything else at keeping food and drink hot or cold and finding totally unexpected ways to use a Stanley. Yeah, we’re talking about you. Did we get your attention?

Over the years, we’ve seen some pretty out-there uses of Stanley products that we just have to share with y’all. Be forewarned: These are all user generated ideas, so proceed at your own risk!

A Stanley Bottle Lamp

Years ago, someone turned one of our classic Stanley bottles into a fully-functional lamp. We use it every day at Stanley HQ! If you want to turn your Stanley into a lamp like ours, House of Hawthornes has some pretty straightforward instructions. Let there be light!

Ship Hot Or Ice Cold Coffee To A Bud

Look, no one is saying you should willfully subvert U.S. Postal code and ship anything less-than-legal across state lines. In fact, we’re definitely saying NOT to (sorry home brewmasters). But we’ve heard tales of enterprising folks who, looking to surprise and delight their friends, filled a Stanley bottle with piping hot coffee/soup/etc, packed it up tight, and overnighted it to their friends across the country. The bottle arrived with the contents still steaming. #BallerMove

Shipping Vaccines

No joke, we’ve had scientists and researchers tell us that they’ve packed Stanley bottles with ice and used them to ship vaccines. Stanley’s unparalleled thermal retention technology means that the vaccine stays viable and protected on a long trip. Gives new meaning to the phrase “my Stanley is a real lifesaver!”

Cooking Food In A Stanley

Since our bottles retain heat just as well as they do cold, a Stanley can be a great way to cook simple healthy meals like oatmeal, dried beans and whole grain cereals. The dudes at Thermoscooking.com can get you the skinny on that.

Transporting Cooked Hot Dogs

This is apparently a thing people do with Stanley flasks, particularly in europe. Hey, we don’t judge.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, people. We know you’ve got something wild and innovative up your sleeve, so we wanna hear your best #StanleyHacks!

ABOUT STANLEY

The Stanley brand has a rich 100+ year history. Born from inventor William Stanley Jr. who forever changed the way hot drinks were consumed, in 1913 he fused vacuum insulation and the strength of steel in one portable bottle, inventing the all-steel vacuum bottle we know and love today.
