Can you describe the culture at Stanley? What is your favorite part?

Having worked in various professional settings, my two-plus years at Stanley have shown me a cultural dynamic like no other, and I’m proud to be part of it every day. One of my favorite parts of the culture here at Stanley is the emphasis on empowerment — each of us at Stanley is encouraged to take initiative, fostering both personal and organizational growth at its finest.

How does Stanley give you opportunities to keep pushing yourself, to grow and explore?

At Stanley, each of us has experienced personal and professional growth in various ways. Empowerment and encouragement are core aspects of our culture, and the team at Stanley truly embodies these values. We are continuously encouraged to experiment, develop new processes, be innovative, explore new tools and systems, and find fresh ways to collaborate and learn. Personally, I’ve benefited immensely from this environment. My leadership has always supported my desire for continued education, allowing me to pursue a Doctorate in Computer and Information Science. Professionally, I’ve been encouraged to explore new technologies and systems, which has helped me enhance my technical expertise and management skills.

Who is the last person you gave a Stanley to as a gift? What was it and why did you choose that?

I recently bought my wife a new Stanley Quencher, and naturally, she's obsessed with it. It’s from the latest Stanley x Barbie collection, because, of course, she’s a MASSIVE Barbie fan. To give you an idea of her Barbie mania: she actually made me and my brother wear Barbie shirts to go see the Barbie movie. Yep, we were those guys. So, needless to say, when I saw the Stanley x Barbie quencher, I knew I didn’t have a choice — I had to get it for her!

What is a favorite memory/ accomplishment from your job?

One of my standout memories at Stanley is participating in our volunteering events. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about stepping away from the usual work routine to contribute to the community, whether it’s organizing food drives, cleaning up local parks, or helping with garden maintenance. These experiences not only give me a chance to give back, but they also allow me to bond with coworkers in a different, more meaningful way. It’s refreshing to collaborate outside the office, work toward a common cause, and collectively create a positive impact that extends beyond the workplace. These events have a special way of reminding us how important it is to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

Tell us how you’re able to be a creator, builder, or inventor in your role?

In today’s rapidly evolving tech landscape, there’s always something new on the horizon, and staying ahead is essential. As part of Stanley’s Digital Technology team, my team is tasked with managing our Global IT Infrastructure, which plays a key role in empowering employees with the latest tools and technologies. These tools help them innovate and produce top-quality products for our customers. My role is dynamic and multifaceted — I spend my days envisioning, designing, and building technological solutions to support and enhance our teams' productivity. This process involves a lot of brainstorming, collaboration, and creativity as we integrate cutting-edge systems into our existing tech framework. Every system presents unique challenges, so it’s critical to develop well-thought-out, seamless integrations that ensure our employees have access to streamlined, high-value technology products that help them excel in their work.

What’s your favorite Stanley product? Why?

One of my absolute favorite products is the Stanley Cross Bottle. I’m completely hooked on its design, style, durability, and sheer practicality. But what really stands out is just how sleek and cool it looks — it’s like having a fashion accessory you can actually use every day! Who would’ve thought a canteen product could be so stylish? Whether I’m at the gym, in the office, or out on a hike, this bottle adds a touch of flair to my routine. It’s the perfect blend of function and fashion, and I honestly can’t get over how effortlessly it fits into my everyday life.
