Brandice Daniel, founder and CEO of Harlem’s Fashion Row and ICON360, is a proud fashion outsider from Memphis, TN, with a background in fashion buying and production. Building on the success of her creative agency, Harlem’s Fashion Row, Brandice created the nonprofit ICON360 to provide financial support, professional development, and career-building resources to designers of color and emerging talent from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
”As a nonprofit dedicated to advancing diverse talent, we believe that fashion is not just about clothing but a cultural force that reflects and shapes society.”
What will the Stanley Creators Fund make possible for ICON360?
The Stanley Creators Fund grant will allow ICON360 to expand its mission-driven programming, improve infrastructure, and provide financial support to designers and HBCU fashion programs. We will be able to enhance both our internal capacity and our external reach, ensuring we continue to uplift the next generation of diverse fashion talent.
Stanley Creators Fund celebrates the Creators, Builders, and Inventors among us. What does it mean to you to be a Creator, Builder, and Inventor?
To me, being a Creator, Builder, and Inventor is about imagining what doesn’t yet exist and then working tirelessly to bring it to life. It’s about turning challenges into opportunities and finding ways to create something meaningful that can leave a lasting impact. It’s also deeply personal. Creating is how I express my passion and purpose, building is how I contribute to something larger than myself, and inventing is how I push boundaries and dream of a better future.
