Can you describe the culture at Stanley? What is your favorite part?

I AM STANLEY.

I’ve been with Stanley for 5 years. With each new hire our culture evolves.

We have a bear with wings! The culture at Stanley is magical. We call ourselves the BearForce. Everyone cultivates the culture and environment that we want to work in. It’s truly special.

What brought you to Stanley? What keeps you here?

At Stanley, I'm drawn to the brand's commitment to sustainability and responsible partnerships. Equally important is the work-life balance it promotes, enhancing my dedication to my peers. As the organizer of our long-standing summer golf league, I contribute to our culture of inclusivity, prioritizing a supportive environment that fosters mental well-being and engagement.

What inspires you? (inside of work, outside of work)

I’ve been fortunate to have meaningful mentors throughout my life, teaching me that everyone has a valuable lesson to offer. Their guidance has taught me to listen, learn, adapt, and evolve. I’m content with who I am today and continually focus on how to be my best self. I sustain an active fast pace both professionally and personally, as I believe in the importance of nurturing a healthy mind and body. My leisure time is spent walking my dog on beaches around the Pacific Northwest. Committed to an active lifestyle, I’ve practiced hot yoga for over 15 years. The best thing about hot yoga is how much I sweat, which aligns with my personal goal to drink a gallon of water daily to stay hydrated and healthy.

What are you most excited about in your job?

I'm thrilled to contribute to Stanley's legacy, a brand that has thrived for over a century, seamlessly blending innovation like the Quencher with timeless classics like the Hammertone green vacuum bottle. Reaching diverse demographics keeps us vibrant and dynamic. Seeing our water bottles featured in social media posts, capturing moments of joy we've brought to people, is incredibly fulfilling and brings me immense happiness. 

Tell us how you’re able to be a creator, builder, or inventor in your role?

I have the best role as Sr Supply Chain Planner. Stanley is encompassed with talented individuals. We set our standards high to achieve “Built for Life” quality. I get to be a creator, builder, and inventor by supporting every cross-functional, global team member. I get to say… “Yes”. We are very much a start-up even with over 111 years of brand recognition. I say “Yes” to the un-thinkable. “No” isn’t in my vocabulary.

What’s your favorite Stanley product? Why?

IceFlow™ Fast Flow bottle. It’s the best leakproof, double-wall vacuum insulated bottle. The 24oz keeps up with my active lifestyle, on the golf course, thrown in a sports bag, and in the car cupholder while I’m on the go.
